El FortiGate Rugged 70G-5G agrega un módem 5G con GPS al rugerizado de mayor rendimiento. Conserva los 1.3 Gbps de threat protection, 8 Gbps de firewall y 7.1 Gbps de VPN IPsec del 70G, y suma un enlace celular capaz de sostener tráfico real, no solo un respaldo de emergencia.
La diferencia frente al LTE de la serie F es de orden de magnitud: un enlace 5G puede sostener el tráfico productivo del sitio, no solo mantenerlo vivo mientras se repara la fibra. Con SD-WAN puedes balancear por SLA entre fibra y 5G en vez de tratar el celular como último recurso. El GPS integrado ubica el activo. Chasis fanless IP40, montaje DIN, −40 °C a 75 °C.
