Cómo elegir el accesorio correcto
Los accesorios Fortinet no son intercambiables entre familias: una fuente de un FortiGate 1800F no sirve en un FortiAnalyzer, y un adaptador de corriente está atado al modelo exacto y al tipo de enchufe. Tres reglas que evitan una compra equivocada:
- Parte del modelo, no del tipo. Filtra primero por tu equipo y después por el tipo de accesorio.
- Revisa el enchufe. En Colombia el estándar es NEMA 5-15 (tipo A/B), que en los códigos Fortinet aparece como sufijo US.
- Los transceivers deben coincidir en velocidad, alcance y conector. Un SFP+ no entra en un puerto SFP28 de 25 GE aunque el conector se parezca.
