El FortiGate 90G es un firewall NGFW de escritorio de Fortinet con throughput de firewall de 28 Gbps, IPS de 4.5 Gbps y NGFW de 2.5 Gbps (tráfico Enterprise Mix). Ofrece 8 puertos GE RJ45 internos más 2 pares de medios compartidos 10GE RJ45/SFP+ y soporta 3 millones de sesiones concurrentes, con fuente de poder redundante opcional. La variante FortiGate 91G añade 120 GB SSD para logging local.
Construido sobre el ASIC de seguridad SP5 de Fortinet, el 90G es el tope de la línea G de escritorio: acelera por hardware la inspección y el SD-WAN, y es el primero de la familia con pares de medios compartidos 10GE RJ45/SFP+ para conectar fibra o uplinks 10G directamente. Con soporte de fuente redundante opcional, SSL-VPN para 200 usuarios y 2500 túneles client-to-gateway, cubre sucursales corporativas y pymes exigentes sin pasar a formato rack.
