El FortiGate 3501F es la variante del FortiGate 3500F con almacenamiento local: agrega 2 discos SSD de 1.92 TB al mismo chasis rack 2U con ASIC NP7 y CP9. Throughput de firewall de 595 Gbps, IPS de 72 Gbps y 140 millones de sesiones concurrentes (348 M con Hyperscale), más 6 slots 100GE QSFP28, 32 slots 25GE SFP28 y fuentes duales hot-swap. El almacenamiento onboard permite retener logs y reportes directamente en el equipo, sin necesidad de un FortiAnalyzer externo para entornos que requieren registro local.
El 3501F es la respuesta para data centers que necesitan retener logs de tráfico en el propio equipo. Sus 2 discos SSD de 1.92 TB permiten almacenamiento local de registros, reportes y diagnósticos sin depender de un FortiAnalyzer externo. En lo demás, es idéntico al 3500F: ASIC NP7 para firewall y SD-WAN acelerados por hardware, procesador CP9 para inspección de contenido, 6 puertos 100GE QSFP28 para el core del data center y 32 puertos 25GE SFP28 para acceso y distribución. También soporta la licencia Hyperscale perpetua para CGNAT acelerado.
