Ofrece 8 puertos GE RJ45, 8 slots GE SFP y 2 slots 10GE SFP+ acelerados por hardware (procesadores NP6 y CP9), soporta 8 millones de sesiones concurrentes e incluye 2 transceivers SFP SX de 1 GE y fuente de poder redundante hot-swappable opcional.
Impulsado por el procesador de red NP6 y el procesador de contenido CP9 de Fortinet, el 600E acelera por hardware firewall, VPN, CAPWAP e inspección SSL (incluyendo TLS 1.3). Su densidad de interfaces cubre el perímetro de un campus completo: 8 puertos GE RJ45 para segmentos de cobre, 8 slots GE SFP para fibra de acceso y 2 slots 10GE SFP+ para uplinks hacia el core.
